FAQs

How often should I exercise?

As a general goal, aim for at least 30 minutes of moderate physical activity every day. If you want to lose weight, maintain weight loss or meet specific fitness goals, you may need to exercise more.

What time of day is best to work out?

What really matters is that you find a time of day that works for you and that fits your schedule, and then stick to it. By keeping your workout regime consistent at the same time every day, you could be making greater training gains. And isn’t that what really matters?

How long should my workouts be?

On an average, it’s probably going to take somewhere between 45 and 90 minutes. For most people, 45 to 90 minutes is enough to get the job done.

Do I need to warm up before my workouts?

Yes you should Warm up properly before exercising to prevent injury and make your workouts more effective. This warm-up routine should take at least 6 minutes. Warm up for longer if you feel the need.

Should I do strength training, cardio or both?

If your main goal is weight loss, you want to burn calories and build muscle mass. So, for optimal benefits, you should incorporate both cardio and strength training into your exercise routine.

Should I lift weights for strength training?

For most people, a single set of 12 to 15 repetitions with a weight that fatigues the muscles can build strength efficiently and can be as effective as three sets of the same exercise. As you get stronger, gradually increase the amount of weight.
